Kelch mansion is an architectural monument. It was constructed in 1858-59 (architect A.K. Kolman) for I.E. Kondoyanaki, the facade was decorated in the Neo-Baroque style. In 1896 the Kelch's acquired the mansion and redecorated the dining room with dark oak paneling in the Neo-Gothic style. The architect Carl Schmid, a cousin of Faberge, assisted the Kelchs with the remodeling. In 1898, when the refurbishment was complete, his wife Varvara moved into their St. Petersburg home. The main facade was faced with sandstone and is designed in the traditions of the French Renaissance, the facade overlooking the courtyard and outbuildings represent a refined stylization of the Gothic style. The interior decor features different historic styles: the front staircase with arcades - the Renaissance style, the sitting room - the Rococo, dining-room with stained-glass windows - the Gothic style. The building is a striking example of late Eclecticism.
Today halls of the mansion are opened for conferences, presentations and business meetings.

Gothic dining room is the most exciting and romantic place in the mansion. You will be really impressed by perfect interiors in Gothic style. Wall panels, ceiling, furniture and doorways are made of walnut. Large stained glass windows, rich color palette, sculptures and high reliefs create mysterious and enigmatic atmosphere. Massive fireplace brings you back to glorious times of the knights.
Next to Gothic dining room is Study, its interiors were also made of walnut. The Study is a perfect example of Baroque style.
White hall (or Concert hall), Great and Small halls are the most impressive rooms of the first floor in the main building. Interiors of the White hall represent so called "second Rococo" and strike imagination by diversity of compositions and forms. The main feature is magnificent fireplace made of Italian grey marble.
Restaurant is located on the ground floor. Here you can enjoy classical Italian style with its exquisite and delicacy. There are three rooms in the restaurant and each of them has its own design.
