Classic Rooms have an entrance hall and bedroom with seating area.  All have twin, queen or king-size beds, with German duvets and coverlets in clean pastel hues.  The rooms are fully equipped with a minibar, television with satellite reception, telephone with international dial facility and voice mail, writing desk and comfortable armchairs for relaxing.

18 rooms are considered Classic Deluxe due to their scenic view facing Arts Square and the Russian Museum. Sizes vary from 32 to 37 square metres. Classic Rooms have an entrance hall and bedroom with seating area. All have twin, queen or king-size beds, with German duvets and coverlets in clean pastel hues. The rooms are fully equipped with a minibar, television with satellite reception, telephone with international dial facility and voice mail, writing desk and comfortable armchairs for relaxing.

All rooms are equipped with a safe and air conditioning. The bathrooms are beautifully appointed with marble floors, a hairdryer and under-floor heating.

The hotel’s 8 Historic Belles Chambres are distinguished by the generous space and classical style of the nineteenth century. While these rooms vary in size and in layout, they are on average about twice the size of the Classic room type. The rooms have parquet floors, spacious seating areas with armchairs and a sofa, and large windows facing onto historic Nevsky Prospect – all of which contribute to their extraordinarily light and airy ambience. The furnishings of the Belles Chambres are antique and also feature period reproduction pieces. The rooms range in size from 40 to 57 square metres. Of these, 3 are equipped with twin beds, and 10 with king or queen-size beds. Rooms are equipped with a butler's pantry. Bathrooms have double washbasins, baths and separate showers.

High atop the hotel, on the fifth floor overlooking St. Petersburg’s enchanting skyline, are our 17 Terrace Rooms. Terrace Rooms are all double rooms, similar in layout, style and size (20 square meters) to our Classic Rooms, with the exception that they are graced with beautiful terraces.
Those facing Arts Square enjoy striking views of the Church of the Spilt Blood, one of St. Petersburg’s most beautiful landmarks. These rooms are especially popular with our guests during summer, when outdoor furniture is placed on the terraces.

The hotel’s 88 Standard Classic rooms vary in size from 23-39 square meters and are facing the inner court yards.

9 rooms are considered Classic Historic Rooms due to their historical architectural features having been carefully retained in the course of the latest hotel restoration. The rooms have a scenic view facing Mikhailovskaya Ulitsa and the Philharmonic Hall. Sizes vary from 33 to 42 square metres. Classic Rooms have an entrance hall and bedroom with seating area. The rooms are full equipped with a minibar, television with satellite reception, telephone with international dial facility and voice mail, writing desk and comfortable armchairs for relaxing. The 9 Historic Classic Suites vary considerably in size and layout, but all share the historic features that were carefully restored during the hotel’s renovation. Antique furniture is used throughout, with the colour and style of the décor reflecting the elegance and restraint of turn-of-the-century Tsarist Russia.

All of the suites comprise an entrance hall, drawing room, bedroom, bathroom. The suites range in size from 47 to 73 square metres, all 15 are furnished with king or queen-size beds.
