Dating back to 18th century, the building housing the five star Radisson SAS Royal Hotel in St Petersburg has a colourful history. The interior of the building was completely reconstructed in 2001, and the original façade has been restored to its former glory, retaining original features, many of which are almost 300 years old. Situated in the heart of the city, the hotel is located on Nevsky Prospect, the main street of St Petersburg.

The hotel is close to major city attractions including the Hermitage, the Russian Museum and the Mariinsky Theatre. Guests have access to the fitness centre with gym, sauna, solarium and massage room. BARBAZAN, the new restaurant offers a Nuevo Latino menu with Asian accents by Chef Hector Jimenez.The Cannelle Bar and Café has terrific views onto Nevsky and Vladimirsky Prospects. Barbazan
In March 2006, the Radisson SAS Royal Hotel opened the new restaurant Barbazan!
Named after Barbazan, a famous spice merchant for once owned this historic building, the restaurant menu reflects modern Latin-American cuisine, cuisine Nuevo-Latino with Asian accents. The food is light and healthy, made with fresh vegetables and fruits and special attention is paid to serving the right wine to accentuate your culinary experience.
The wine list is carefully selected and offers wines of the New World, including Spanish, Italian and classical French wines. Barbazan restaurant interior includes the unique glass walk-in wine cellar for you to walk in and choose your wine! In the wine cellar ideal temperature and humidity are kept for storing more than 1,000 bottles of wine at one time.

Lunch and dinner:  12:30 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.

Canelle Bar
Conveniently located at the corner of two of the city's main shopping streets, Cannelle Bar has a cosy atmosphere and large panoramic windows to see the city from. A variety of cocktails and refreshments, as well as snacks, main courses and desserts are on our menu.
