Day 1 -2 – OSLO

Arrival to Oslo. During the first two days you willdiscover the most important sights of the Norwegian Capital.

Between the green glades of the forest and the Oslo fjord lays the capital of Norway! The combination of the metropolis and the proximity of nature make Oslo a unique place to stay. Oslo is the largest city in Norway and its capital since 1814. Over time Oslo had a range of different names. Its original name was Oslo but in the Middle Ages it was located on the east bank of Bjørvika. After the disastrous fireof 1624, King Christian IV decided to rebuild the citybehind on Akershus and call it Christiania.

This name was used between 1877 and 1925 when the city regained its original name Oslo. Oslo offers some 50 museums and numerous galleries. There also of international renown such as the Vigeland Sculpture Park, the Viking Ship Museum, the Kon-Tiki and the Munch Museum.

Discover this city and its sights such as the Frogner sculpture park with the granite and bronze sculptures created by the Norwegian artist Gustav Vigeland, the Royal Castle, the Opera house and the Old Akershus Fortress, dating back over 700 years - an important cultural and historical monument.

Day 3 – NORWAY IN A NUTSHELL FROM OSLO TO BERGEN

Breakfast at your hotel and early departure to the train station.

Today you will take the most beautiful journey in Scandinavia. This is the most beautiful train ride in the country, called Norway in a Nutshell tour – because it takes you through the most beautiful natural sceneries so typical for Norway. During this trip you will see several of the most important sights ofthe country as the Flåm railway, the Aurland and Naeröj fjord which are part of the Sognefjord and the UNESCOS world heritage list.

The Flåm Railway, is a masterpiece of railway engineering, climbs asteep, narrow mountain valley through beautiful landscapes with waterfalls and steep mountains plunging from a height of 2952 feet above the fjord below. The Sognefjord is the longest fjord in the world 205 km long and 1308 meters deep. This is where the sea meets the snowy mountains and where the modern life meets an era of ice. Lunch in Flåm. Day 4 - BERGEN

Breakfast at your hotel and discovery of Bergen thehanseatic city.

You can discover the Bryggen by a walk that begins at the fish market where you can taste salmon, shrimp and caviar prepared in one of the stalls fishermen. Take for instance the Flojbanen funicular which will take you up to the top of the mountain to admire a wonderful view on Bergen. Free lunch and dinner.


Day 5 – BERGEN – OSLO

Today you will find your way back to Oslo. You willtake the train for around 6h30 through the mountains and will check in at the hotel in Oslo for one more night. You will still have some time to do some shopping or visits in Oslo.


Day 6 – OSLO – HOME DESTINATION

Breakfast at your hotel than transfer to the airport (not included). End of our services.
