Russian Visa

All foreign citizens who travel to Russia require a Russian valid visa to enter the country.
A visa to the Russia is a document, permitting stay in the country for a certain period of time.
A foreign citizen can obtain a visa to Russia only in the country of his/her citizenship.

Depending on supposed number of visits of the country you can get single, double or multiple entry visa:

Single entry visa is valid only for one visit
Double entry visa permits double entries into the country
Multiple entry visa allows any number of visits within its validity period.

There are some types of Russian visas:

Business visa

Business visa is the most popular one among business people. These visas can be obtained for longer period of time that tourist ones and the Consulate processing period is usually shorter. Officially business visas are intended for foreign citizens who visit Russia to sign a contract, meet business partners, take part in negotiations etc.
Validity period: standard Russian business visa is issued for up to 90 days and with up to 2 entries per visa. There are also multiple-entry Russian business visas, valid for 3, 6 or 12 months with unlimited entries and exits.

Student visa

Student visa allows its holder to study at an institution of higher learning in Russia. This type of visa is single-entry. To obtain a Russian student visa, a letter of invitation from a university or school in Russia is required.
Validity period: a student visas are valid for the whole period of the study program.

Work Visa

Work visa is given to foreigners who have an official employment contract in Russia. It's a long process to get one and the companies should have a special permission to employ foreigners.
Validity period: such visa allows you to stay as long as you need in Russia.

Tourist visa

Tourist visa will be issued to applicants wishing to enter Russia for tourism purposes. You are not allowed to work or conduct business with a tourist visa. Tourist visa can be obtained on the basis of an invitation from a tourist agency, registered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs according to the Russian law, or on the basis of a hotel confirmation. Validity period: tourist visas are issued for a period for up to 30 days, and most often up to 14 days.

To get tourist Russian visa you should firstly order an official invitation from our travel agency.

To get invitation you should only send us your passport data (name, citizenship, date of birth and passport number)
During 24 hours (except days off and public holidays in Russia) we send you an Invitation. Invitation includes a tourist voucher with reservation number and invitation letter which can only be issued by a Russian travel agency.
After getting the invitation you should present it to the Russian consulate in your country and apply for a visa.

Registration

According Russian law you should register your arrival. All foreigners arrived in Russia must declare their arrival to migration control bodies in 3 working days (except days off and public holidays). The absence of registration will not allow you to follow some legal acts and can be a reason for a penalty.

To register your arrival you should go to a local migration department (OVIR) and fill in Arrival Notification form.
